Please come to the clinic if you wish to discuss your results or if your symptoms persist or worsens. As an alternative, you may book a phone consultation to discuss your results.
Most blood test results take 1 to 3 days to be reported to the medical clinic. Other results such as imaging take a few days to weeks.
Once results are received, they are reviewed by the physician on duty.
Most of our patients do not receive calls unless the results are needed to be discussed, further testing is required or they need to go back to the clinic for follow-up.
Kindly note that our receptionists are unable to discuss your results.
We send your referral electronically.
Before leaving the clinic, please let the receptionist know if you have any preference like a specific doctor or location and we will try to accommodate your request.
When an appointment date is received, we will notify you.
Please note that obtaining an appointment date varies and largely depends on the specialist.
Call us if you do not receive any update after 2 weeks.
All of the information you provided is fully confidential. If you want your information to be disclosed to a family member or someone, you need to provide a written permission or bring them with you to the clinic.
We would need your written consent if you request your records sent to your family doctor. There will be charges for this request.
You may see a doctor and receive medical treatment. Please indicate during your registration if you have private insurance or self-pay.
There are services which are not covered by OHIP or your private insurance. Please talk to our receptionist for more information.
We apologize for this inconvenience. As a busy walk-in clinic we receive a high volume of calls each day. In the case that you are not able to reach the receptionist at the time you call, kindly leave a voicemail with your name, phone number and reason for the call. You can also leave us an email at info@townclinic.ca and we will get back with you within 1-2 business days.
For very urgent or emergency situations, the walk-in clinic is not the best place to go to. Please call 911 or proceed to the emergency department of the hospital nearest you.
We are glad your doctor was able to help you. We will continue our best to serve you as your “go to clinic”, however, none of our doctors do family practice.
Our doctors work on specific days and times. Please call the clinic to ask about the doctors’ schedule. However, please bear in mind that, as much as we want to keep the schedule, it may change without prior notice due to emergencies or unavoidable circumstances.
Yes we do TB testing for school or for employment purposes. Please call the clinic to ask details regarding this.
